Mission Statement

What do we do? How do we do it? Who do we do it for? What value are we bringing?

One Hundred Years of Fire is a collection of creative writing pieces, including poetry, photography, fiction, and historical fiction that touches upon the diaspora of Harlem’s locale. Seeking to define both the past and present state, One Hundred Years of Fire focuses on the everyday experience, transcribing the perception of Harlem’s appearance from what we know versus what we hear. With the intention of targeting a transformative audience, One Hundred Years of Fire solidifies three purposes: to inform, inspire and entertain.
